CVSS v3.1 |
| Improper certificate validation in FedCM in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass web origin policy via crafted network traffic. (Chromium security severity: Low) |
| A certificate validation issue was addressed with improved certificate validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7, tvOS 27, visionOS 27, watchOS 27. An attacker with a compromised intermediate certificate authority may be able to issue certificates with arbitrary extended key usages. |
| A certificate validation issue was addressed with improved certificate validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An attacker in a privileged network position may be able to intercept network traffic. |
| Improper certificate validation in the shared HTTP client used by synchronization and integration features in Devolutions Server 2026.2.16 and earlier allows a network-positioned attacker to intercept and tamper with outbound TLS connections via a spoofed or self-signed certificate. |
| Improper certificate validation on LDAPS connections to Active Directory in Devolutions Server 2026.2.16 and earlier allows a network-positioned attacker to intercept privileged directory service credentials via a spoofed domain controller certificate. |
| IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions due to improper certificate validation. |
| An improper certificate validation vulnerability in Email API in Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) before 7.2.1-69057-10, 7.2.2-72806-7 and 7.3.2-86009-2 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or write arbitrary files and conduct denial-of-service attacks. |
| A vulnerability in the sftunnel inter-device communication protocol of Cisco Secure FMC Software and Cisco Secure FTD Software could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to impersonate the peer device and obtain access at the level of the manager role, which is equivalent to root.
This vulnerability is due to improper management of the TLS certificate for the sftunnel management connection. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the sftunnel port using a crafted TLS certificate. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to become a registered sftunnel peer with root access.
Note: The attack is successful only if the sftunnel connection is down or the attack can disrupt the sftunnel connection long enough to execute the attack. |
| Apache ZooKeeper quorum TLS fails to enforce peer hostname verification in FIPS-mode deployments. When sslQuorum=true, zookeeper.fips-mode=true, ssl.quorum.hostnameVerification=true, and ssl.quorum.clientHostnameVerification=true are enabled, the Java SSLSocket quorum path accepts a CA-trusted peer certificate whose SAN does not match the connected host. A malicious or misissued peer certificate can therefore join quorum traffic, participate in leader election, and enter replication flows.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.8.7 or 3.9.6, which fixes the issue. |
| OpenTelemetry-Go is the Go implementation of OpenTelemetry. Prior to version 0.21.0, the exporters/otlp/otlplog/otlploggrpc package loads OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_LOGS_CERTIFICATE, OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_CERTIFICATE, and related client certificate environment variables through loadEnvTLS into cfg.tlsCfg, but newGRPCDialOptions does not apply cfg.tlsCfg when creating gRPC transport credentials. The environment-only TLS path instead uses credentials.NewTLS with system roots and no configured client certificate, bypassing intended private CA pinning and mutual TLS unless the application also supplies WithTLSCredentials. A network attacker able to intercept or spoof the collector connection with a system-trusted certificate can read or alter log telemetry. This issue is fixed in version 0.21.0. |
| The lack of TLS certificate validation when downloading firmware updates in VEO and VEO-XS Wi-Fi monitors, in versions prior to 01.48.001, allows an attacker to perform man-in-the-middle attacks on the update channel. |
| A specific version of the Node.js mongodb-client-encryption module does not perform correct validation of the KMS server’s certificate. This vulnerability in combination with a privileged network position active MITM attack could result in interception of traffic between the Node.js driver and the KMS service rendering client-side field level encryption (CSFLE) ineffective. This issue was discovered during internal testing and affects mongodb-client-encryption module version 1.2.0, which was available from 2021-Jan-29 and deprecated in the NPM Registry on 2021-Feb-04. This vulnerability does not impact driver traffic payloads with CSFLE-supported key services from applications residing inside the AWS, GCP, and Azure nework fabrics due to compensating controls in these environments. This issue does not impact driver workloads that don’t use Field Level Encryption. This issue affect MongoDB Node.js Driver mongodb-client-encryption module version 1.2.0 |
| When verifying a certificate chain containing excluded DNS constraints, these constraints are not correctly applied to wildcard DNS SANs which use a different case than the constraint. This only affects validation of otherwise trusted certificate chains, issued by a root CA in the VerifyOptions.Roots CertPool, or in the system certificate pool. |
| Kuma is a modern Envoy-based service mesh that can run on every cloud across both Kubernetes and VMs. Prior to 2.7.26, 2.9.16, 2.11.14, 2.12.11, and 2.13.7, a kumactl profile manually configured for an HTTPS control plane without --ca-cert-file disables TLS peer verification and sends API tokens over the unverified connection. An attacker on the network path can intercept user or administrator API tokens and act against the control plane as the compromised user. The default local profile is unaffected because it uses plain HTTP. This issue is fixed in versions 2.7.26, 2.9.16, 2.11.14, 2.12.11, and 2.13.7. |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access. |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to protection mechanism bypass. |

| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to server-side request forgery. |
| DIRAC is an interware, meaning a software framework for distributed computing. Prior to versions 8.0.79, 9.0.22, and 9.1.10, WorkloadManagementSystem/Utilities/PilotWrapper.py pilotWrapperScript uses ssl._create_unverified_context to download the second-stage pilot.tar archive without TLS certificate verification and downloads the reference checksum through the same unvalidated channel. An attacker able to redirect or intercept a grid site's network traffic through DNS or routing manipulation can substitute both the executable pilot code and its checksum, causing arbitrary code to run in the pilot context with access to pilot proxy credentials. The fixed implementation validates the server certificate through system trust and X509_CERT_DIR or the grid certificate directory. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.79, 9.0.22, and 9.1.10. |
