| CVE-2023-1390 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 5 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 2 more | 2026-09-18 | 7.5 High |
| A remote denial of service vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel’s TIPC kernel module. The while loop in tipc_link_xmit() hits an unknown state while attempting to parse SKBs, which are not in the queue. Sending two small UDP packets to a system with a UDP bearer results in the CPU utilization for the system to instantly spike to 100%, causing a denial of service condition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81736 | 1 Isc | 2 Bind, Bind 9 | 2026-09-18 | 7.5 High |
| If a BIND resolver has cached a tree of SVCB/HTTPS AliasMode records, and is then queried for the root of that tree, the resolver will spend disproportionate CPU time constructing the response. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.18.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.27, 9.21.0 through 9.21.25, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.27-S1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92596 | 1 Nodemailer | 1 Nodemailer | 2026-09-18 | 7.5 High |
| Nodemailer before 9.1.0 contains a quadratic time complexity vulnerability in the addressparser component that allows remote attackers to cause denial of service by supplying a crafted comma-separated address list. Attackers can send a single email with a large number of addresses to block the Node.js event loop for extended periods, consuming 100% CPU and freezing the process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92987 | 1 Razrfalcon | 1 Roxmltree | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| roxmltree through 0.21.1 performs quadratic-time attribute and namespace validation during XML parsing without limits on attribute count. Attackers can craft XML documents with tens of thousands of attributes on a single element to consume excessive CPU time and cause denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87908 | 1 Multiparty | 1 Multiparty | 2026-09-16 | 7.5 High |
| multiparty is a Node.js library for parsing multipart/form-data request bodies. In versions from 2.1.0 up to but not including 4.3.1, the parser does not bound the amount of memory used while accumulating the headers of a single multipart part. An unauthenticated attacker can send a single request whose part carries a very large volume of header bytes, forcing the parser to buffer all of them and exhausting the process memory, which crashes the server. This is a denial of service with no confidentiality or integrity impact. The issue is fixed in multiparty 4.3.1, which caps the size of the accumulated part headers. Users should upgrade to multiparty 4.3.1 or later. | ||||
| CVE-2025-14017 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 6.3 Medium |
| When doing multi-threaded LDAPS transfers (LDAP over TLS) with libcurl, changing TLS options in one thread would inadvertently change them globally and therefore possibly also affect other concurrently setup transfers. Disabling certificate verification for a specific transfer could unintentionally disable the feature for other threads as well. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48779 | 2 Websockets, Ws Project | 2 Ws, Ws | 2026-09-11 | 7.5 High |
| ws is an open source WebSocket client and server for Node.js. All versions from 1.1.0 up to (but not including) 5.2.5, from 6.0.0 up to 6.2.4, from 7.0.0 up to 7.5.11, and from 8.0.0 up to 8.21.0 are affected by a memory exhaustion DoS vulnerability. A peer can send a high volume of exceptionally small fragments and data chunks, with modest network traffic, to force the remote peer into allocating and holding structural wrappers that consume far more memory than the default documented message-size limit, leading to process termination due to OOM. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.2.5, 6.2.4, 7.5.11, and 8.21.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64066 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-03 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix netfs_read_to_pagecache() to pause on subreq failure Fix netfs_read_to_pagecache() so that it pauses the generation of new subrequests if an already-issued subrequest fails. | ||||
| CVE-2026-52681 | 1 Open-xchange | 2 Ox Dovecot Ce, Ox Dovecot Pro | 2026-09-01 | 3.1 Low |
| Sieve CPU resource usage is tracked in the compiled script, so an attacker that has valid credentials can reset the accounting by repeatedly changing the active script. Compiled script files are also not removed when a script is deleted or renamed. The configured Sieve CPU limit can be bypassed, allowing sustained CPU consumption, and the leftover files increase disk consumption. Both can cause degradation of service for mail delivery. Monitor system for abnormal CPU usage and disk consumption. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74392 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-22 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm: limit target bio polling to one shot dm_poll_bio() is the ->poll_bio() callback for a stacked dm device. The caller only knows about the dm queue, so it may decide to do a spinning poll if it thinks a single queue is being polled. Passing those flags unchanged to the mapped clone lets blk_mq_poll() spin on a target queue from inside dm_poll_bio(). With io_uring IOPOLL on a dm-stripe target this can keep a task in dm_poll_bio() -> bio_poll() -> blk_mq_poll() long enough to trigger an RCU CPU stall, before io_uring gets back to io_iopoll_check() and its need_resched() check. Keep dm's ->poll_bio() bounded by forcing one-shot polling for target bios. The caller can invoke dm_poll_bio() again if it wants to keep polling, and it also gets a chance to reap completions or reschedule between passes. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75140 | 1 Jhy | 1 Jsoup | 2026-08-21 | 7.5 High |
| jsoup through 1.23.2, fixed in commit 862ba2f, contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in XmlTreeBuilder that allows remote attackers to exhaust JVM heap memory by supplying a deeply nested XML document with uniquely-namespaced elements. The builder copies the entire inherited namespace map on every start element, causing quadratic time and memory complexity, which attackers can exploit to trigger an OutOfMemoryError and terminate the application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71491 | 1 Andialbrecht | 1 Sqlparse | 2026-08-21 | 7.5 High |
| sqlparse is a non-validating SQL parser module for Python. Prior to 0.6.0, group_comments in sqlparse/engine/grouping.py repeatedly rescans comment-only statements before the MAX_GROUPING_TOKENS guard, causing quadratic CPU consumption through sqlparse.parse() and sqlparse.format(sql, strip_comments=True). This issue is fixed in version 0.6.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74547 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-19 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (adt7470) Fix busy-loop and I2C flooding in update thread When userspace configures 'auto_update_interval' to 0 via sysfs, the background kthread executes schedule_timeout_interruptible(0), which returns immediately. If 'num_temp_sensors' is concurrently or previously set to 0, the msleep_interruptible() delay inside adt7470_read_temperatures() also becomes 0. This combination forces the background thread into a tight, unbounded busy-loop, hogging the CPU and flooding the I2C bus with a continuous stream of transactions. Fix this vulnerability by raising the lower limit of the clamp_val in auto_update_interval_store() from 0 to 500 milliseconds. This guarantees a reasonable minimum sleep window between sensor updates, protecting the system from intentional or accidental I2C bus denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-41292 | 1 Nlnetlabs | 1 Unbound | 2026-08-19 | 7.5 High |
| NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including version 1.25.0 is vulnerable to a degradation of service attack related to parsing long lists of incoming EDNS options. An adversary sending queries with too many EDNS options can hold Unbound threads hostage while they are parsing and creating internal data structures for the options. Coordinated attacks can result in degradation and/or denial of service. Unbound 1.25.1 contains a patch with a fix to limit acceptable incoming EDNS options (100). | ||||
| CVE-2026-15337 | 1 Djangoproject | 1 Django | 2026-08-18 | 5.3 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in Django 5.2 before 5.2.17 and 6.0 before 6.0.8. `django.utils.translation.check_for_language()` is subject to a potential denial-of-service attack when given many distinct, very long language codes, which are retained as keys in an in-memory cache and consume process memory. Such codes reach the function through the `django.views.i18n.set_language()` view, which is not routed by default. The consumed memory is bounded, since request data is limited by the `DATA_UPLOAD_MAX_MEMORY_SIZE` setting (default 2.5 MB) and the cache holds a fixed maximum number of entries. Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.1.x, 5.0.x, and 4.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected. Django would like to thank Jaeyoung Jang for reporting this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-56862 | 1 Go Standard Library | 1 Crypto Tls | 2026-08-14 | 7.5 High |
| Handshake messages, such as KeyUpdate, are always considered as state-advancing, regardless of whether a handshake has been completed or not. As a result, a malicious client can keep sending KeyUpdate messages to force the server to keep performing key derivation operations indefinitely. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71488 | 1 Thephpleague | 1 Commonmark | 2026-08-07 | 7.5 High |
| league/commonmark is a PHP library for parsing and rendering CommonMark Markdown. From 0.6.0 until 2.9.0, specially crafted Markdown lines can cause the parser to have quadratic time complexity when converting, because several parsing paths repeatedly rescan growing portions of a line to translate between character positions and byte positions, and the Autolink extension can also copy and validate the remaining line at every URL-like prefix, allowing an attacker who can submit Markdown for conversion to consume disproportionate CPU time with a comparatively small request. This issue is fixed in 2.9.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71439 | 1 Mermaid Project | 1 Mermaid | 2026-08-07 | 6.5 Medium |
| Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts. From version 11.6.0 until 11.16.1, Mermaid Radar Diagrams allow arbitrary large values for the ticks parameter, which can cause high CPU usage and freeze the rendering webpage or JavaScript process for long periods of time, potentially until the process is killed from memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 11.16.1. | ||||
| CVE-2024-56590 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-04 | 7.6 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_core: Fix not checking skb length on hci_acldata_packet This fixes not checking if skb really contains an ACL header otherwise the code may attempt to access some uninitilized/invalid memory past the valid skb->data. | ||||
| CVE-2024-35814 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-04 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: swiotlb: Fix double-allocation of slots due to broken alignment handling Commit bbb73a103fbb ("swiotlb: fix a braino in the alignment check fix"), which was a fix for commit 0eee5ae10256 ("swiotlb: fix slot alignment checks"), causes a functional regression with vsock in a virtual machine using bouncing via a restricted DMA SWIOTLB pool. When virtio allocates the virtqueues for the vsock device using dma_alloc_coherent(), the SWIOTLB search can return page-unaligned allocations if 'area->index' was left unaligned by a previous allocation from the buffer: # Final address in brackets is the SWIOTLB address returned to the caller | virtio-pci 0000:00:07.0: orig_addr 0x0 alloc_size 0x2000, iotlb_align_mask 0x800 stride 0x2: got slot 1645-1649/7168 (0x98326800) | virtio-pci 0000:00:07.0: orig_addr 0x0 alloc_size 0x2000, iotlb_align_mask 0x800 stride 0x2: got slot 1649-1653/7168 (0x98328800) | virtio-pci 0000:00:07.0: orig_addr 0x0 alloc_size 0x2000, iotlb_align_mask 0x800 stride 0x2: got slot 1653-1657/7168 (0x9832a800) This ends badly (typically buffer corruption and/or a hang) because swiotlb_alloc() is expecting a page-aligned allocation and so blindly returns a pointer to the 'struct page' corresponding to the allocation, therefore double-allocating the first half (2KiB slot) of the 4KiB page. Fix the problem by treating the allocation alignment separately to any additional alignment requirements from the device, using the maximum of the two as the stride to search the buffer slots and taking care to ensure a minimum of page-alignment for buffers larger than a page. This also resolves swiotlb allocation failures occuring due to the inclusion of ~PAGE_MASK in 'iotlb_align_mask' for large allocations and resulting in alignment requirements exceeding swiotlb_max_mapping_size(). | ||||
