CVSS v3.1 |
| Vulnerability in the Siebel CRM Cloud Applications product of Oracle Siebel CRM (component: Siebel Cloud Manager). Supported versions that are affected are 22.3-26.9. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Siebel CRM Cloud Applications. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of Siebel CRM Cloud Applications accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.3 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N). |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in Windows Resilient File System (ReFS) allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature with a physical attack. |
| Use after free in Windows Audio Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 42.11.3, 43.7.0, 44.3.0, and 45.0.0-alpha.5, requests to open external protocol URLs could be attributed to a document other than the one that initiated them, causing the requestingUrl passed to session.setPermissionRequestHandler to identify trusted content for a launch requested by untrusted content. An application that grants openExternal based on the requesting origin and allows untrusted content to open or navigate windows could therefore allow that content to launch an OS-registered external application. This issue is fixed in versions 42.11.3, 43.7.0, 44.3.0, and 45.0.0-alpha.5. |
| Vulnerability in the Siebel CRM Cloud Applications product of Oracle Siebel CRM (component: Siebel Cloud Manager). Supported versions that are affected are 22.3-26.9. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Siebel CRM Cloud Applications. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Siebel CRM Cloud Applications accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.5 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N). |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows HTTP.sys allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows OLE DB allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |

| Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 42.11.1, 43.5.1, 44.1.1, and 45.0.0-alpha.4, chrome.tabs.query() returned each tab's url and title to extensions that had neither the tabs permission nor matching host permissions. An application that loaded an extension it did not fully trust through session.extensions.loadExtension could therefore allow that extension to read the URL and title of every webContents in its session. This issue is fixed in versions 42.11.1, 43.5.1, 44.1.1, and 45.0.0-alpha.4. |

| OpenVPN ovpn-dco-win 0.6.5 through 2.8.13 allows unprivileged local users to cause a denial of service (system crash) via a race condition in the TCP connect path. |
| GFI KerioConnect (Kerio Connect) before 10.0.9 Patch 2 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Webmail component that allows a remote attacker to spoof link targets or inject HTML into a message as rendered in a victim's authenticated Webmail session by sending a crafted email whose text is already inside a link. Attackers can exploit the link auto-formatter's re-processing of already-linked text, using quote characters to break out of the href attribute and inject attacker-controlled markup to execute script in the victim's session. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: reject SetEA requests that do not fit the request buffer
CIFSSMBSetEA() copies the caller's extended attribute value into the
SMB request buffer without checking that it fits. The requirement is
stated in the source but was never implemented:
/*BB add length check to see if it would fit in
negotiated SMB buffer size BB */
/* if (ea_value_len > buffer_size - 512 (enough for header)) */
if (ea_value_len)
memcpy(parm_data->list.name + name_len + 1,
ea_value, ea_value_len);
The only bound applied on the way in is in cifs_xattr_set():
#define MAX_EA_VALUE_SIZE CIFSMaxBufSize
...
if (size > MAX_EA_VALUE_SIZE)
CIFSMaxBufSize is the full payload capacity of the buffer, so a value
of exactly that size leaves no room for the SMB header, the TRANS2
parameter block, the fealist header and the EA name that are written
ahead of it in the same object.
SendReceive() already enforces the correct limit on this very length:
if (in_len > CIFSMaxBufSize + MAX_CIFS_HDR_SIZE)
but it is called after the copy has taken place. An unprivileged
setxattr(2) on an SMB1 mount with a 250-byte name and a 16384-byte
value writes 16384 bytes starting 345 bytes into a 16588-byte
cifs_request object, ending 141 bytes past it:
BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in CIFSSMBSetEA+0xabc/0xde0
Write of size 16384 at addr ffff888003aa0159 by task init/68

CIFSSMBSetEA+0xabc/0xde0
cifs_xattr_set+0xd3a/0xff0
__vfs_setxattr+0x13e/0x1a0
The buggy address is located 345 bytes inside of
allocated 16588-byte region
Apply SendReceive()'s limit to the assembled request before the copy
rather than after it, and widen the byte counters so the sum cannot
wrap before it is tested.
byte_count is also tested against U16_MAX, because it is stored in the
16-bit pSMB->ByteCount. That becomes reachable when CIFSMaxBufSize is
raised at module load, where it may be set as high as 1024*127: with a
5-byte EA name and a 65521-byte value, count is exactly U16_MAX while
byte_count is 65556, and cpu_to_le16() would truncate it to 20 and
transmit a frame whose ByteCount does not match its length. Testing
byte_count covers count as well, since byte_count is the larger of the
two and count's only 16-bit consumer is written after this point.
check_add_overflow() is evaluated first so that total_len is assigned
before it is reported. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
selinux: fix BPF token permission checks
Avoid multiple lookups of the bpffs creator SID using the token's file
descriptor when the same information can be found via the resolved
path/dentry (in selinux_bpf_token_create()) or the token itself (in
selinux_bpf_map_create() and selinux_bpf_prog_load()). Not only does
this simplify the code, it avoids potential TOCTOU issues if the user
changes the token file descriptor passed into the kernel. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
eventfs: Free the eventfs_inode after an rcu grace period too
tracefs_d_revalidate() reads ->is_freed of the eventfs_inode that
dentry->d_fsdata points to, and ->d_revalidate() is called in rcu
pathwalk mode with nothing but rcu_read_lock() held. The dentry itself
stays around for such a walker, but tracefs_d_release() drops its
reference to the eventfs_inode when the dentry is killed, and
release_ei() then frees it after a grace period of eventfs_srcu. An
SRCU grace period doesn't wait for rcu_read_lock() sections, so the
walker can read an eventfs_inode that is already gone.
With a pathwalk held up in tracefs_d_revalidate() while the dentry goes
away:

Before commit 8e556432477e ("eventfs: Use SRCU for freeing
eventfs_inodes") release_ei() used call_rcu(), which covered the walker,
while eventfs_iterate() needs the SRCU grace period. Wait for both and
chain call_rcu() from the SRCU callback. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fsnotify: prevent mark additions during connector teardown
fsnotify_destroy_marks() keeps a reference to its current mark while it
drops conn->lock to destroy the mark. This stabilizes the forward-walk
cursor, but does not prevent a new mark from being inserted before it.
For example, an inotify watch re-added after IN_IGNORED sorts before the
old, detached mark for the same group. The walk can miss the replacement
and then detach the entire connector from the object.
The replacement is still on its group's marks_list and, for inotify, in
the watch IDR. The group mutex no longer protects the connector's object
from disappearing. An unprivileged fdinfo read racing the final detach
can consequently call igrab(NULL):
BUG: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in igrab+0x24/0x100
Write of size 4 at addr 0000000000000148
Call Trace:
igrab+0x24/0x100
inotify_show_fdinfo+0x1dc/0x5e0
seq_show+0x397/0x690
Set a DESTROYING flag under conn->lock before starting the walk, and
reject new marks on that connector with -ENOENT. The existing add-mark
error paths undo the temporary group-list entry and the backend's watch
allocation. Do not wait for teardown while holding the group mutex,
which the destroyer needs. Once the old connector is detached, an add
can install a fresh connector as before.
This closes the insertion race for all object types using the common
connector teardown, without changing the mark reference or SRCU lifetime
rules. |
