CVSS v3.1 |
| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 19.2 before 19.2.8, 19.3 before 19.3.5, and 19.4 before 19.4.2 that, under certain conditions, could have allowed an unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary code on the GitLab server via a specially crafted regular expression in a CI/CD configuration, due to insufficient regular expression validation. |
| Edgeless Systems Contrast from 1.21.0 before 1.25.0 contains a non-deterministic registry selection flaw in imagepuller that can prefer wildcard configuration entries over concrete domain matches. When a pull configuration lists both a concrete domain and its parent wildcard, registry credentials, CA bundles, or mirror settings intended for the wildcard may be applied to the concrete registry, leaking credentials or pull metadata. |
| Rclone from 1.64.0 before 1.75.2 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in serve webdav that lets unauthenticated attackers skip authentication by sending OPTIONS requests. Attackers can probe arbitrary paths and compare Allow header values to determine whether files or collections exist, enabling namespace enumeration. |
| rclone from 1.55.0 before 1.75.2 contains a signature verification bypass in stable selfupdate that trusts checksums from unsigned bytes preceding the PGP-clearsigned SHA256SUMS block. Attackers controlling the release distribution path can prepend an unsigned checksum line matching a malicious archive, causing selfupdate to install an attacker-controlled rclone executable. |
| vLLM from 0.20.1 before 0.29.0 contains an improper input validation vulnerability that allows remote attackers to crash the engine by supplying out-of-vocabulary stop_token_ids. Attackers can send OpenAI chat, completion, generate, or batch requests with invalid IDs to terminate the engine or write outside the V2 runner's logits buffer. |
| vLLM from 0.10.2 before 0.25.0 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust memory because the Nemotron-VL processors globally set Image.MAX_IMAGE_PIXELS to None. Attackers can submit a pathological decompression-bomb image to /v1/chat/completions to OOM-kill the worker and deny service to co-tenants. |
| SiYuan from 2.10.0 before 3.8.7 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows users with edit permission to inject script by placing javascript: URLs in math block content rendered with KaTeX trust enabled. Attackers can store \href, \url, or \includegraphics payloads that mathRender assigns via innerHTML, executing script in the application origin when a reader clicks the rendered link. |
| Parse Server before 8.6.101 and 9.0.0 before 9.10.4-alpha.4 contains a missing authorization vulnerability on MongoDB deployments that lets clients without the master key delete the stored schema of any class. Unauthenticated attackers can send REST API delete requests targeting the internal _SCHEMA collection to remove field definitions, class-level permissions, and protected fields, exposing data to unauthorized reads and modifications. |
| Parse Server before 8.6.103 and 9.0.0 before 9.10.5-alpha.4 contains an information disclosure vulnerability in LiveQuery. Its subscription hash omits constraints next to a $or operator, including the _Session owner filter and beforeSubscribe constraints, so distinct subscriptions are grouped together. Authenticated clients subscribing with $or queries can receive other users' events, including session tokens usable for impersonation. |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-33 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability on 32-bit systems that allows attackers to overwrite heap memory when convex-hull information is requested. Attackers can supply crafted images processed with convex-hull calculations to corrupt heap memory, causing crashes or potential code execution. |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-58 and 7.x before 7.1.2-33 contains a stack-based buffer overflow in the handling of bzip2 compressed images. Attackers can supply a crafted image using bzip2 compression to overwrite stack memory during decoding, causing crashes or memory corruption. |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-58 and 7.x before 7.1.2-32 contains a security policy bypass caused by an incomplete fix for the policy bypass reported in GHSA-jjp4-3fwf-393j. An attacker able to supply input to ImageMagick can evade configured security policy restrictions, allowing operations the policy was intended to block. |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-33 contains a policy bypass vulnerability in the UHDR decoder that allows attackers to evade image width and height limits because extent checks occur after decoding. Attackers can supply crafted UHDR images with oversized dimensions that are fully decoded before policy limits are enforced, causing excessive resource consumption. |
| ProjectSend 2.0.0 through 2.7.1 contains an incomplete authorization vulnerability in FileVersions::link() that allows staff users to share files without authorization by linking file versions. Attackers can link their file onto an intermediate revision or assign out-of-scope clients, causing moveAssignmentsToRoot() to expose protected original files to unauthorized clients. |
| Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 4.6.0 until 4.6.3, Nuxt resolves literal or percent-encoded dot segments before rendering a page while Nitro routing, server/middleware checks, and server route rules evaluate the unresolved path. A request such as /%2e/admin can therefore render app/pages/admin.vue and its server-rendered data while checks keyed to /admin, redirects, or per-route security headers do not apply. API handlers, appMiddleware, Nuxt 3, and Nuxt 4.0.0 through 4.5.x are not affected, and exploitation requires a client that sends dot segments without browser normalization. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.3. |

EDAC/altera: Fix use-after-free in error paths
In both altr_edac_a10_device_add() and altr_portb_setup(), the error path
freed the dci structure before releasing the devres group. Since the managed
single and double bit IRQ handlers use altdev(dci->pvt_info) as their data, an
IRQ firing between freeing dci and unregistering the IRQs could dereference
the freed memory.
Release the devres group first so the managed IRQs are unregistered
before the dci structure is freed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv6: sr: use skb_get_hash_net() in seg6_make_flowlabel()
Since commit d58e468b1112 ("flow_dissector: implements flow dissector
BPF hook") __skb_flow_dissect() needs a net pointer, either from
skb->dev, skb->sk, or since commit 3cbf4ffba5ee ("net: plumb network
namespace into __skb_flow_dissect") a caller provided pointer.
syzbot was able to reach seg6_make_flowlabel() with an skb having
neither skb->dev nor skb->sk set: a TIPC UDP bearer sends a discovery
message through an IPv4 route using seg6 encap, while
net.ipv6.seg6_flowlabel is set to 1.
seg6_make_flowlabel() already has a net pointer, use skb_get_hash_net().

wifi: ath11k: reset ar->num_stations on hardware start
When (multiple) hw restart occurs, we end up in a situation where we
cannot accept new stations / mesh peers. This seems to be the
'num_stations' in 'struct ath11k' that did not get reset properly in
this case. In ath11k_mac_op_start(), it was indeed the only accounting var
that did not get reset so let's clear it too.
This avoids problems like those:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
rust: irq: pass RegistrationInner as cookie to request_irq
With commit ba268514ea14 ("rust: devres: fix race condition due to
nesting"), Devres::new() returns Result<Self> by value instead of
initializing in-place via PinInit. Because request_irq() is called
inside Devres::new(), registration.inner is still uninitialized when the
IRQ is enabled, so accessing registration.inner.device() in the IRQ
callback can read uninitialized memory.
Fix this by storing the Device and handler pointer in RegistrationInner
and passing RegistrationInner as the IRQ cookie after its fields are
initialized.
This is not needed in mainline because commit 98c63ce4d760 ("rust: irq:
make Registration compatible with lifetime-bound drivers") removed
Devres from irq::Registration and moved request_irq() after all fields
are initialized. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86/mm: Drop unnecessary PMD page copy when freeing
On a box with a discrete GPU, lockdep reports a possible deadlock as
soon as kswapd shrinks the TTM page pool. The immediate cause is an
x86 commit that added an mmap_read_lock() to kernel page protection
munging code.
The huge vmap code holds the same lock over a GFP_KERNEL allocation,
which is a no-no now that reclaim can take it. That allocation is in a
page table *free* path and ends up being for dubious purposes[1].
Basically, it tries to avoid hardware setting Accessed=1 in page table
entries that are unreachable by the hardware, a non-issue.
Remove the PMD copy. Detach the original PMD page at the PUD, flush
the mid-level caches, and free the PTE tables straight from the
detached PMD page. With no allocation left, the locking issue is gone.
Lockdep splat/analysis:
WARNING: possible circular locking dependency detected
7.3.0-rc3-f6e7b42bf05b+ #183 Tainted: G U
------------------------------------------------------
kswapd0/269 is trying to acquire lock:
((init_mm).mmap_lock){++++}-{4:4}, at: change_page_attr_set_clr+0x29a/0x4a0
but task is already holding lock:
(pool_shrink_rwsem){.+.+}-{4:4}, at: ttm_pool_shrink+0xb2/0x330 [ttm]
Chain exists of:
(init_mm).mmap_lock --> fs_reclaim --> pool_shrink_rwsem
The cycle is built from three edges:
1) pool_shrink_rwsem -> (init_mm).mmap_lock
The TTM shrinker restores the caching attribute of every page it
frees, while holding pool_shrink_rwsem:
ttm_pool_shrink()
-> ttm_pool_dispose_list()
-> ttm_pool_free_page()
-> set_pages_wb()
-> change_page_attr_set_clr() [ init_mm mmap read lock ]
2) fs_reclaim -> pool_shrink_rwsem
The same shrinker, called from reclaim.
3) (init_mm).mmap_lock -> fs_reclaim
ioremap() installing a huge PUD mapping over an existing PMD table:
ioremap_page_range()
-> vmap_range_noflush()
-> vmap_try_huge_pud() [ init_mm mmap read lock ]
-> pud_free_pmd_page()
-> __get_free_page(GFP_KERNEL) [ enters reclaim ]
[ dhansen: Lots of changelog munging/trimming and merged comments from my
version of the fix. ] |
