| CVE-2026-40890 | 1 Gomarkdown | 1 Markdown | 2026-04-27 | 7.5 High |
| The package `github.com/gomarkdown/markdown` is a Go library for parsing Markdown text and rendering as HTML. Processing a malformed input containing a < character that is not followed by a > character anywhere in the remaining text with a SmartypantsRenderer will lead to Out of Bounds read or a panic. This vulnerability is fixed with commit 759bbc3e32073c3bc4e25969c132fc520eda2778. | ||||
| CVE-2026-23386 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-24 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gve: fix incorrect buffer cleanup in gve_tx_clean_pending_packets for QPL In DQ-QPL mode, gve_tx_clean_pending_packets() incorrectly uses the RDA buffer cleanup path. It iterates num_bufs times and attempts to unmap entries in the dma array. This leads to two issues: 1. The dma array shares storage with tx_qpl_buf_ids (union). Interpreting buffer IDs as DMA addresses results in attempting to unmap incorrect memory locations. 2. num_bufs in QPL mode (counting 2K chunks) can significantly exceed the size of the dma array, causing out-of-bounds access warnings (trace below is how we noticed this issue). UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in drivers/net/ethernet/drivers/net/ethernet/google/gve/gve_tx_dqo.c:178:5 index 18 is out of range for type 'dma_addr_t[18]' (aka 'unsigned long long[18]') Workqueue: gve gve_service_task [gve] Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x33/0xa0 __ubsan_handle_out_of_bounds+0xdc/0x110 gve_tx_stop_ring_dqo+0x182/0x200 [gve] gve_close+0x1be/0x450 [gve] gve_reset+0x99/0x120 [gve] gve_service_task+0x61/0x100 [gve] process_scheduled_works+0x1e9/0x380 Fix this by properly checking for QPL mode and delegating to gve_free_tx_qpl_bufs() to reclaim the buffers. | ||||

| A vulnerability has been found in Nothings stb up to 2.30. This issue affects the function stbi__gif_load_next in the library stb_image.h of the component GIF Decoder. Such manipulation leads to denial of service. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. | ||||
| CVE-2026-40093 | 1 Nimiq | 2 Core-rs-albatross, Nimiq Proof-of-stake | 2026-04-24 | 8.1 High |
| nimiq-blockchain provides persistent block storage for Nimiq's Rust implementation. In 1.3.0 and earlier, block timestamp validation enforces that timestamp >= parent.timestamp for non-skip blocks and timestamp == parent.timestamp + MIN_PRODUCER_TIMEOUT for skip blocks, but there is no visible upper bound check against the wall clock. A malicious block-producing validator can set block timestamps arbitrarily far in the future. This directly affects reward calculations via Policy::supply_at() and batch_delay() in blockchain/src/reward.rs, inflating the monetary supply beyond the intended emission schedule. | ||||
| CVE-2026-23407 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-24 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: fix missing bounds check on DEFAULT table in verify_dfa() The verify_dfa() function only checks DEFAULT_TABLE bounds when the state is not differentially encoded. When the verification loop traverses the differential encoding chain, it reads k = DEFAULT_TABLE[j] and uses k as an array index without validation. A malformed DFA with DEFAULT_TABLE[j] >= state_count, therefore, causes both out-of-bounds reads and writes. | CVE-2026-23338 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/userq: Do not allow userspace to trivially triger kernel warnings Userspace can either deliberately pass in the too small num_fences, or the required number can legitimately grow between the two calls to the userq wait ioctl. In both cases we do not want the emit the kernel warning backtrace since nothing is wrong with the kernel and userspace will simply get an errno reported back. So lets simply drop the WARN_ONs. | CVE-2008-2374 | 3 Bluez, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 4 Bluez-libs, Bluez-utils, Fedora and 1 more | 2026-04-23 | 9.8 Critical |
| src/sdp.c in bluez-libs 3.30 in BlueZ, and other bluez-libs before 3.34 and bluez-utils before 3.34 versions, does not validate string length fields in SDP packets, which allows remote SDP servers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted length field that triggers excessive memory allocation or a buffer over-read. | ||||
| CVE-2008-1440 | 1 Microsoft | 2 Windows Server 2003, Windows Xp | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| Microsoft Windows XP SP2 and SP3, and Server 2003 SP1 and SP2, does not properly validate the option length field in Pragmatic General Multicast (PGM) packets, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop and system hang) via a crafted PGM packet, aka the "PGM Invalid Length Vulnerability." | ||||
| CVE-2009-4488 | 1 Varnish.projects.linpro | 1 Varnish | 2026-04-23 | 9.8 Critical |
| Varnish 2.0.6 writes data to a log file without sanitizing non-printable characters, which might allow remote attackers to modify a window's title, or possibly execute arbitrary commands or overwrite files, via an HTTP request containing an escape sequence for a terminal emulator. NOTE: the vendor disputes the significance of this report, stating that "This is not a security problem in Varnish or any other piece of software which writes a logfile. The real problem is the mistaken belief that you can cat(1) a random logfile to your terminal safely. | ||||

| CVE-2026-35039 | 1 Nearform | 1 Fast-jwt | 2026-04-22 | 9.1 Critical |
| fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. From 0.0.1 to before 6.2.0, setting up a custom cacheKeyBuilder method which does not properly create unique keys for different tokens can lead to cache collisions. This could cause tokens to be mis-identified during the verification process leading to valid tokens returning claims from different valid tokens and users being mis-identified as other users based on the wrong token. Version 6.2.0 contains a patch. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33557 | 1 Apache | 1 Kafka | 2026-04-22 | 9.1 Critical |
| A possible security vulnerability has been identified in Apache Kafka. By default, the broker property `sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class` is set to `org.apache.kafka.common.security.oauthbearer.DefaultJwtValidator`. It accepts any JWT token without validating its signature, issuer, or audience. An attacker can generate a JWT token from any issuer with the `preferred_username` set to any user, and the broker will accept it. We advise the Kafka users using kafka v4.1.0 or v4.1.1 to set the config `sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class` to `org.apache.kafka.common.security.oauthbearer.BrokerJwtValidator` explicitly to avoid this vulnerability. Since Kafka v4.1.2 and v4.2.0 and later, the issue is fixed and will correctly validate the JWT token. | ||||

| CVE-2025-8291 | 1 Python | 1 Cpython | 2026-04-22 | 4.3 Medium |
| The 'zipfile' module would not check the validity of the ZIP64 End of Central Directory (EOCD) Locator record offset value would not be used to locate the ZIP64 EOCD record, instead the ZIP64 EOCD record would be assumed to be the previous record in the ZIP archive. This could be abused to create ZIP archives that are handled differently by the 'zipfile' module compared to other ZIP implementations. Remediation maintains this behavior, but checks that the offset specified in the ZIP64 EOCD Locator record matches the expected value. | ||||
