CVE-2018-0495 5 Canonical, Debian, Gnupg and 2 more 14 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libgcrypt and 11 more 2026-10-14 N/A
Libgcrypt before 1.7.10 and 1.8.x before 1.8.3 allows a memory-cache side-channel attack on ECDSA signatures that can be mitigated through the use of blinding during the signing process in the _gcry_ecc_ecdsa_sign function in cipher/ecc-ecdsa.c, aka the Return Of the Hidden Number Problem or ROHNP. To discover an ECDSA key, the attacker needs access to either the local machine or a different virtual machine on the same physical host.
CVE-2026-11837 1 Redhat 8 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openstack and 5 more 2026-10-13 7.3 High
A local privilege escalation vulnerability was found in the ansible.posix authorized_key module. The module's keyfile() function uses os.chown() instead of os.lchown() and opens files without O_NOFOLLOW when managing SSH authorized keys. An unprivileged local user can pre-stage symbolic links in their ~/.ssh directory to redirect file ownership changes to arbitrary system paths when an operator runs the authorized_key task as root, leading to local privilege escalation.
CVE-2021-22555 4 Broadcom, Linux, Netapp and 1 more 43 Fabric Operating System, Linux Kernel, Aff 500f and 40 more 2026-10-13 8.3 High
A heap out-of-bounds write affecting Linux since v2.6.19-rc1 was discovered in net/netfilter/x_tables.c. This allows an attacker to gain privileges or cause a DoS (via heap memory corruption) through user name space
CVE-2025-0624 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2026-10-13 7.6 High
A flaw was found in grub2. During the network boot process, when trying to search for the configuration file, grub copies data from a user controlled environment variable into an internal buffer using the grub_strcpy() function. During this step, it fails to consider the environment variable length when allocating the internal buffer, resulting in an out-of-bounds write. If correctly exploited, this issue may result in remote code execution through the same network segment grub is searching for the boot information, which can be used to by-pass secure boot protections.
CVE-2024-11218 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Ironic and 4 more 2026-10-13 8.6 High
A vulnerability was found in `podman build` and `buildah.` This issue occurs in a container breakout by using --jobs=2 and a race condition when building a malicious Containerfile. SELinux might mitigate it, but even with SELinux on, it still allows the enumeration of files and directories on the host.
CVE-2024-12085 8 Almalinux, Archlinux, Gentoo and 5 more 29 Almalinux, Arch Linux, Linux and 26 more 2026-10-13 7.5 High
A flaw was found in rsync which could be triggered when rsync compares file checksums. This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the checksum length (s2length) to cause a comparison between a checksum and uninitialized memory and leak one byte of uninitialized stack data at a time.
CVE-2025-6021 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft 30 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 27 more 2026-10-12 7.5 High
A flaw was found in libxml2's xmlBuildQName function, where integer overflows in buffer size calculations can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can result in memory corruption or a denial of service when processing crafted input.
CVE-2025-49794 1 Redhat 16 Cert Manager, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 13 more 2026-10-12 9.1 Critical
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in libxml2. This issue occurs when parsing XPath elements under certain circumstances when the XML schematron has the <sch:name path="..."/> schema elements. This flaw allows a malicious actor to craft a malicious XML document used as input for libxml, resulting in the program's crash using libxml or other possible undefined behaviors.
CVE-2025-7425 1 Redhat 17 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 14 more 2026-10-12 7.8 High
A flaw was found in libxslt where the attribute type, atype, flags are modified in a way that corrupts internal memory management. When XSLT functions, such as the key() process, result in tree fragments, this corruption prevents the proper cleanup of ID attributes. As a result, the system may access freed memory, causing crashes or enabling attackers to trigger heap corruption.
CVE-2025-11234 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2026-10-09 7.5 High
A flaw was found in QEMU. If the QIOChannelWebsock object is freed while it is waiting to complete a handshake, a GSource is leaked. This can lead to the callback firing later on and triggering a use-after-free in the use of the channel. This can be abused by a malicious client with network access to the VNC WebSocket port to cause a denial of service during the WebSocket handshake prior to the VNC client authentication.
CVE-2015-5477 13 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 10 more 79 Os X Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 76 more 2026-10-09 7.5 High
named in ISC BIND 9.x before 9.9.7-P2 and 9.10.x before 9.10.2-P3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (REQUIRE assertion failure and daemon exit) via TKEY queries.
CVE-2026-14476 2 Redhat, Sssd 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more 2026-10-08 8 High
A path traversal flaw was found in SSSD's AD GPO provider. The ad_gpo_extract_smb_components() function does not sanitize .. sequences in the gPCFileSysPath LDAP attribute, allowing an attacker with AD GPO management access to write files outside the GPO cache directory as root. On default RHEL configurations with SELinux enforcing, this can be used to inject Kerberos configuration leading to authentication bypass.
CVE-2023-48161 2 Giflib Project, Redhat 8 Giflib, Enterprise Linux, Openjdk and 5 more 2026-10-08 7.1 High
Buffer Overflow vulnerability in GifLib Project GifLib v.5.2.1 allows a local attacker to obtain sensitive information via the DumpSCreen2RGB function in gif2rgb.c
CVE-2016-9840 9 Apple, Boost, Canonical and 6 more 27 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Tvos and 24 more 2026-10-08 8.8 High

CVE-2018-1060 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 14 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
python before versions 2.7.15, 3.4.9, 3.5.6rc1, 3.6.5rc1 and 3.7.0 is vulnerable to catastrophic backtracking in pop3lib's apop() method. An attacker could use this flaw to cause denial of service.
CVE-2026-4408 2 Redhat, Samba 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more 2026-10-08 9 Critical
A flaw was found in Samba. A remote attacker can exploit a misconfiguration in Samba file servers and classic domain controllers that use the "check password script" feature. If this script is configured with the %u substitution character, the client-controlled username is passed without proper escaping of shell meta-characters. This vulnerability allows an attacker to achieve remote command execution on the affected system. This issue primarily affects non-standard configurations where the "check password script" is used with %u and the samba-dcerpcd service is started as a system service.
CVE-2025-49796 1 Redhat 16 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 13 more 2026-10-08 9.1 Critical
A vulnerability was found in libxml2. Processing certain sch:name elements from the input XML file can trigger a memory corruption issue. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious XML input file that can lead libxml to crash, resulting in a denial of service or other possible undefined behavior due to sensitive data being corrupted in memory.
CVE-2025-9566 1 Redhat 9 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 6 more 2026-10-08 8.1 High
There's a vulnerability in podman where an attacker may use the kube play command to overwrite host files when the kube file container a Secrete or a ConfigMap volume mount and such volume contains a symbolic link to a host file path. In a successful attack, the attacker can only control the target file to be overwritten but not the content to be written into the file. Binary-Affected: podman Upstream-version-introduced: v4.0.0 Upstream-version-fixed: v5.6.1
CVE-2026-16313 1 Redhat 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 7 more 2026-10-08 7.6 High
A flaw was found in sg3_utils. The sg_inq command, when invoked with the --export option, outputs device identification data without sanitizing control characters in SCSI name string fields. A newline character embedded in a device-supplied name string can inject arbitrary properties into the udev device database. This could allow an attacker who can present a crafted SCSI device to execute arbitrary commands as root when the device is disconnected.
