| vmtypedarrayobject.cpp in Mozilla Firefox before 28.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.4, Thunderbird before 24.4, and SeaMonkey before 2.25 does not validate the length of the destination array before a copy operation, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds write and application crash) by triggering incorrect use of the TypedArrayObject class. | ||||
| CVE-2018-5147 | 2 Debian, Mozilla | 2 Debian Linux, Firefox | 2025-11-25 | N/A |
| The libtremor library has the same flaw as CVE-2018-5146. This library is used by Firefox in place of libvorbis on Android and ARM platforms. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 52.7.2 and Firefox < 59.0.1. | ||||

| CVE-2014-1513 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Mozilla and 3 more | 17 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Firefox and 14 more | 2025-11-25 | 8.8 High |
| TypedArrayObject.cpp in Mozilla Firefox before 28.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.4, Thunderbird before 24.4, and SeaMonkey before 2.25 does not prevent a zero-length transition during use of an ArrayBuffer object, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (heap-based out-of-bounds write or read) via a crafted web site. | ||||
| CVE-2014-1482 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 18 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 15 more | 2025-11-25 | 8.8 High |
| RasterImage.cpp in Mozilla Firefox before 27.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.3, Thunderbird before 24.3, and SeaMonkey before 2.24 does not prevent access to discarded data, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (incorrect write operations) via crafted image data, as demonstrated by Goo Create. | ||||
| CVE-2019-11693 | 3 Linux, Mozilla, Redhat | 4 Linux Kernel, Firefox, Thunderbird and 1 more | 2025-11-25 | N/A |
| The bufferdata function in WebGL is vulnerable to a buffer overflow with specific graphics drivers on Linux. This could result in malicious content freezing a tab or triggering a potentially exploitable crash. *Note: this issue only occurs on Linux. Other operating systems are unaffected.*. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 60.7, Firefox < 67, and Firefox ESR < 60.7. | ||||
| CVE-2018-12379 | 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat | 10 Debian Linux, Firefox, Thunderbird and 7 more | 2025-11-25 | N/A |
| When the Mozilla Updater opens a MAR format file which contains a very long item filename, an out-of-bounds write can be triggered, leading to a potentially exploitable crash. This requires running the Mozilla Updater manually on the local system with the malicious MAR file in order to occur. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 62, Firefox ESR < 60.2, and Thunderbird < 60.2.1. | ||||

Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort that some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.8, Firefox < 68, and Thunderbird < 60.8. | ||||
| CVE-2023-52482 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-25 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/srso: Add SRSO mitigation for Hygon processors Add mitigation for the speculative return stack overflow vulnerability which exists on Hygon processors too. | ||||
| CVE-2022-50156 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-25 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: cp2112: prevent a buffer overflow in cp2112_xfer() Smatch warnings: drivers/hid/hid-cp2112.c:793 cp2112_xfer() error: __memcpy() 'data->block[1]' too small (33 vs 255) drivers/hid/hid-cp2112.c:793 cp2112_xfer() error: __memcpy() 'buf' too small (64 vs 255) The 'read_length' variable is provided by 'data->block[0]' which comes from user and it(read_length) can take a value between 0-255. Add an upper bound to 'read_length' variable to prevent a buffer overflow in memcpy(). | ||||
| CVE-2023-30800 | 1 Mikrotik | 1 Routeros | 2025-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| The web server used by MikroTik RouterOS version 6 is affected by a heap memory corruption issue. A remote and unauthenticated attacker can corrupt the server's heap memory by sending a crafted HTTP request. As a result, the web interface crashes and is immediately restarted. The issue was fixed in RouterOS 6.49.10 stable. RouterOS version 7 is not affected. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38101 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-20 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Fix buffer locking in ring_buffer_subbuf_order_set() Enlarge the critical section in ring_buffer_subbuf_order_set() to ensure that error handling takes place with per-buffer mutex held, thus preventing list corruption and other concurrency-related issues. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38133 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-20 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: ad4851: fix ad4858 chan pointer handling The pointer returned from ad4851_parse_channels_common() is incremented internally as each channel is populated. In ad4858_parse_channels(), the same pointer was further incremented while setting ext_scan_type fields for each channel. This resulted in indio_dev->channels being set to a pointer past the end of the allocated array, potentially causing memory corruption or undefined behavior. Fix this by iterating over the channels using an explicit index instead of incrementing the pointer. This preserves the original base pointer and ensures all channel metadata is set correctly. | ||||
| CVE-2023-40548 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 7 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2025-11-20 | 7.4 High |
| A buffer overflow was found in Shim in the 32-bit system. The overflow happens due to an addition operation involving a user-controlled value parsed from the PE binary being used by Shim. This value is further used for memory allocation operations, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow. This flaw causes memory corruption and can lead to a crash or data integrity issues during the boot phase. | ||||
| CVE-2023-47039 | 3 Microsoft, Perl, Redhat | 3 Windows, Perl, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-20 | 7.8 High |
| A vulnerability was found in Perl. This security issue occurs while Perl for Windows relies on the system path environment variable to find the shell (`cmd.exe`). When running an executable that uses the Windows Perl interpreter, Perl attempts to find and execute `cmd.exe` within the operating system. However, due to path search order issues, Perl initially looks for cmd.exe in the current working directory. This flaw allows an attacker with limited privileges to place`cmd.exe` in locations with weak permissions, such as `C:\ProgramData`. By doing so, arbitrary code can be executed when an administrator attempts to use this executable from these compromised locations. | ||||
