CVE-2026-31568 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/mm: Add missing secure storage access fixups for donated memory There are special cases where secure storage access exceptions happen in a kernel context for pages that don't have the PG_arch_1 bit set. That bit is set for non-exported guest secure storage (memory) but is absent on storage donated to the Ultravisor since the kernel isn't allowed to export donated pages. Prior to this patch we would try to export the page by calling arch_make_folio_accessible() which would instantly return since the arch bit is absent signifying that the page was already exported and no further action is necessary. This leads to secure storage access exception loops which can never be resolved. With this patch we unconditionally try to export and if that fails we fixup.
CVE-2026-113812 2026-10-30 9.1 Critical
Mozilla::CA versions before 20261020 for Perl provide a CA certificate bundle containing a root linked to compromised intermediates. The bundle includes "emSign ECC Root CA - G3", which provides a trust path for intermediate certificates whose private keys are publicly available. An attacker able to intercept or redirect client traffic may use these keys to impersonate a TLS server. LWP, HTTP::Tiny and other clients normally use IO::Socket::SSL, which looks for CA certificates in OpenSSL's default locations before falling back to Mozilla::CA. Configuration and environment variables can override this selection. Users should check which CA store their client uses. If it uses the system store, check for and install the operating system vendor's updates for this incident.
CVE-2026-113128 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-10-30 8.8 High
Missing authorization in Animation in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-113030 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-10-30 8.8 High
Improper access control in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-112202 2026-10-30 6.5 Medium
Imager::File::GIF versions before 1.006 for Perl allow out-of-bounds reads when consolidating GIF images. With `gif_consolidate => 1`, palette indices from the image are used without checking the colour table's bounds. The i_readgif_low routine reads beyond the heap allocation and copies the bytes into output pixels. The default GIF reader is not affected. The same code ships bundled in the Imager distribution. An attacker supplying a crafted GIF can disclose adjacent heap memory through the decoded output and may crash the process.
CVE-2026-111943 2 Go Standard Library, Redhat 3 Crypto/x509, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird 2026-10-30 6.8 Medium
On most platforms, Go uses the given system root certificates. However, in some narrower cases, the system trust stores may not be updated without further action. To defend against the narrower set of cases that may remain affected, a denylist was added in crypto/x509 to return an error when calling Verify with any of the known intermediate certificates that are no longer considered to be trustworthy.
CVE-2026-111879 1 Perl5-dbi 1 Dbi 2026-10-30 6.5 Medium
DBI versions before 1.656 for Perl hang on a later open of a DBD::DBM table because a failed open_data does not release the table's lock. open_data creates the table's lock file and takes an exclusive flock on it for a CREATE, before the checks that can croak: a dbm_mldbm value that is not a module name, a failing tie, or a missing data file. The croak unwinds before the table object is blessed, so nothing releases the lock, and the meta data holding the open descriptor stays cached on the database handle. The dbm_mldbm and dbm_type values come from the DSN or the connect attributes, so a caller that chooses the serializer or the storage backend can trigger the failure. The flock has no timeout, so a later open of that table (even through a separate database handle) blocks for as long as the handle holding the stale lock lives, in the same process or any other.
CVE-2026-108518 1 Perl5-dbi 1 Dbi 2026-10-30 2.9 Low
DBI versions before 1.656 for Perl crash via type confusion in dbi_profile when a database handle is destroyed under a Profile Path with an {attr} element. An {attr} element names a database handle attribute, which dbi_profile reads from the handle's inner hash. It expects the inner handle as a reference and dereferences it, but a handle that is being destroyed hands back the inner hash itself, so the dereference yields the hash's bucket array. A type check on that pointer usually fails and the call goes unprofiled. When the memory it addresses passes the check, the attribute lookup dereferences a NULL or invalid pointer and the process dies on SIGSEGV. The Path is set by the application, by the Profile handle attribute, or by the DBI_PROFILE environment variable, so `DBI_PROFILE={ImplementorClass}` can crash an unmodified program.
CVE-2026-119601 1 Afflib Project 1 Afflib 2026-10-30 6.1 Medium
AFFLIB through 3.7.22 contains a heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability in af_get_page() that allows attackers to corrupt heap memory by supplying crafted AFF images with mismatched page and sector sizes. Attackers can set a page size larger than and not a multiple of the sector size, causing the sector zero-fill loop to write past the buffer and crash forensic tools.
CVE-2026-119597 2026-10-30 9.8 Critical
OpenDeepWiki through 2.0.6 contains a hard-coded JWT signing key vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge administrator tokens using the publicly known Jwt:SecretKey in appsettings.json. Attackers can mint HS256 bearer tokens with an Admin role claim to access /api/admin endpoints and control users, roles, repositories, settings, and API keys.
CVE-2026-119596 2026-10-30 4.3 Medium
UNIT3D through 9.2.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in PlaylistZipController::show that allows authenticated users to download other members' private playlists. Attackers can enumerate sequential playlist ids at the /playlist-zips/{playlist} endpoint to obtain zips of all torrents, disclosing private collection membership.
CVE-2025-40328 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix potential UAF in smb2_close_cached_fid() find_or_create_cached_dir() could grab a new reference after kref_put() had seen the refcount drop to zero but before cfid_list_lock is acquired in smb2_close_cached_fid(), leading to use-after-free. Switch to kref_put_lock() so cfid_release() is called with cfid_list_lock held, closing that gap.
CVE-2026-119572 1 Traefik 1 Traefik 2026-10-30 8.7 High
Traefik from 3.7.0-ea.1 before 3.7.15 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the Kubernetes Ingress NGINX provider that silently disables mTLS configured via the auth-tls-secret annotation. When another Ingress declares a path on the same host without matching auth-tls settings, Traefik falls back to default TLS options, letting unauthenticated attackers reach backends requiring client certificates.

CVE-2025-38524 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: Fix recv-recv race of completed call If a call receives an event (such as incoming data), the call gets placed on the socket's queue and a thread in recvmsg can be awakened to go and process it. Once the thread has picked up the call off of the queue, further events will cause it to be requeued, and once the socket lock is dropped (recvmsg uses call->user_mutex to allow the socket to be used in parallel), a second thread can come in and its recvmsg can pop the call off the socket queue again. In such a case, the first thread will be receiving stuff from the call and the second thread will be blocked on call->user_mutex. The first thread can, at this point, process both the event that it picked call for and the event that the second thread picked the call for and may see the call terminate - in which case the call will be "released", decoupling the call from the user call ID assigned to it (RXRPC_USER_CALL_ID in the control message). The first thread will return okay, but then the second thread will wake up holding the user_mutex and, if it sees that the call has been released by the first thread, it will BUG thusly: kernel BUG at net/rxrpc/recvmsg.c:474! Fix this by just dequeuing the call and ignoring it if it is seen to be already released. We can't tell userspace about it anyway as the user call ID has become stale.

CVE-2025-38234 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/rt: Fix race in push_rt_task Overview ======== When a CPU chooses to call push_rt_task and picks a task to push to another CPU's runqueue then it will call find_lock_lowest_rq method which would take a double lock on both CPUs' runqueues. If one of the locks aren't readily available, it may lead to dropping the current runqueue lock and reacquiring both the locks at once. During this window it is possible that the task is already migrated and is running on some other CPU. These cases are already handled. However, if the task is migrated and has already been executed and another CPU is now trying to wake it up (ttwu) such that it is queued again on the runqeue (on_rq is 1) and also if the task was run by the same CPU, then the current checks will pass even though the task was migrated out and is no longer in the pushable tasks list. Crashes ======= This bug resulted in quite a few flavors of crashes triggering kernel panics with various crash signatures such as assert failures, page faults, null pointer dereferences, and queue corruption errors all coming from scheduler itself. CVE-2025-38127 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix Tx scheduler error handling in XDP callback When the XDP program is loaded, the XDP callback adds new Tx queues. This means that the callback must update the Tx scheduler with the new queue number. In the event of a Tx scheduler failure, the XDP callback should also fail and roll back any changes previously made for XDP preparation. The previous implementation had a bug that not all changes made by the XDP callback were rolled back. This caused the crash with the following call trace: [ +9.549584] ice 0000:ca:00.0: Failed VSI LAN queue config for XDP, error: -5 [ +0.382335] Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0x50a2250a90495525: 0000 [#1] SMP NOPTI [ +0.010710] CPU: 103 UID: 0 PID: 0 Comm: swapper/103 Not tainted 6.14.0-net-next-mar-31+ #14 PREEMPT(voluntary) [ +0.010175] Hardware name: Intel Corporation M50CYP2SBSTD/M50CYP2SBSTD, BIOS SE5C620.86B.01.01.0005.2202160810 02/16/2022 [ +0.010946] RIP: 0010:__ice_update_sample+0x39/0xe0 [ice] [...] [ +0.002715] Call Trace: [ +0.002452] <IRQ> [ +0.002021] ? __die_body.cold+0x19/0x29 [ +0.003922] ? die_addr+0x3c/0x60 [ +0.003319] ? exc_general_protection+0x17c/0x400 [ +0.004707] ? asm_exc_general_protection+0x26/0x30 [ +0.004879] ? __ice_update_sample+0x39/0xe0 [ice] [ +0.004835] ice_napi_poll+0x665/0x680 [ice] [ +0.004320] __napi_poll+0x28/0x190 [ +0.003500] net_rx_action+0x198/0x360 [ +0.003752] ? update_rq_clock+0x39/0x220 [ +0.004013] handle_softirqs+0xf1/0x340 [ +0.003840] ? sched_clock_cpu+0xf/0x1f0 [ +0.003925] __irq_exit_rcu+0xc2/0xe0 [ +0.003665] common_interrupt+0x85/0xa0 [ +0.003839] </IRQ> [ +0.002098] <TASK> [ +0.002106] asm_common_interrupt+0x26/0x40 [ +0.004184] RIP: 0010:cpuidle_enter_state+0xd3/0x690 Fix this by performing the missing unmapping of XDP queues from q_vectors and setting the XDP rings pointer back to NULL after all those queues are released. Also, add an immediate exit from the XDP callback in case of ring preparation failure.
CVE-2025-37957 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Forcibly leave SMM mode on SHUTDOWN interception Previously, commit ed129ec9057f ("KVM: x86: forcibly leave nested mode on vCPU reset") addressed an issue where a triple fault occurring in nested mode could lead to use-after-free scenarios. However, the commit did not handle the analogous situation for System Management Mode (SMM). This omission results in triggering a WARN when KVM forces a vCPU INIT after SHUTDOWN interception while the vCPU is in SMM. This situation was reprodused using Syzkaller by: 1) Creating a KVM VM and vCPU 2) Sending a KVM_SMI ioctl to explicitly enter SMM 3) Executing invalid instructions causing consecutive exceptions and eventually a triple fault The issue manifests as follows: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 25506 at arch/x86/kvm/x86.c:12112 kvm_vcpu_reset+0x1d2/0x1530 arch/x86/kvm/x86.c:12112 Modules linked in: CPU: 0 PID: 25506 Comm: syz-executor.0 Not tainted 6.1.130-syzkaller-00157-g164fe5dde9b6 #0 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS 1.12.0-1 04/01/2014 RIP: 0010:kvm_vcpu_reset+0x1d2/0x1530 arch/x86/kvm/x86.c:12112 Call Trace: <TASK> shutdown_interception+0x66/0xb0 arch/x86/kvm/svm/svm.c:2136 svm_invoke_exit_handler+0x110/0x530 arch/x86/kvm/svm/svm.c:3395 svm_handle_exit+0x424/0x920 arch/x86/kvm/svm/svm.c:3457 vcpu_enter_guest arch/x86/kvm/x86.c:10959 [inline] vcpu_run+0x2c43/0x5a90 arch/x86/kvm/x86.c:11062 kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl_run+0x50f/0x1cf0 arch/x86/kvm/x86.c:11283 kvm_vcpu_ioctl+0x570/0xf00 arch/x86/kvm/../../../virt/kvm/kvm_main.c:4122 vfs_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:51 [inline] __do_sys_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:870 [inline] __se_sys_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:856 [inline] __x64_sys_ioctl+0x19a/0x210 fs/ioctl.c:856 do_syscall_x64 arch/x86/entry/common.c:51 [inline] do_syscall_64+0x35/0x80 arch/x86/entry/common.c:81 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x6e/0xd8 Architecturally, INIT is blocked when the CPU is in SMM, hence KVM's WARN() in kvm_vcpu_reset() to guard against KVM bugs, e.g. to detect improper emulation of INIT. SHUTDOWN on SVM is a weird edge case where KVM needs to do _something_ sane with the VMCB, since it's technically undefined, and INIT is the least awful choice given KVM's ABI. So, double down on stuffing INIT on SHUTDOWN, and force the vCPU out of SMM to avoid any weirdness (and the WARN). Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Syzkaller.
